Can you believe the fourth of July is right around the corner? Let’s talk about some easy July 4th decor ideas!
If you’ve been a reader for a while, you know I am all about efficiency! I love to entertain, but I don’t enjoy the prep and clean up. I don’t have a lot of time, so the idea of creating some of the work-intensive decorations and food displays I see on Pinterest makes my eyes glaze over. That’s why I get excited when I find fun and festive decor ideas that are also quick and easy.
6 Easy July 4th Decor Ideas
1. Condiment Pails
I love this idea not just for July 4th, but all summer long while barbecuing is the theme! Paint cans are easy to find at Home Depot, Target or Amazon!
2. Flag Fruit
Talk about easy. Last year, these were gone in about 5 minutes so make plenty to refill the plate. The kids love these for the grab and go ease and of course, the marshmallows!
3. Lawn Stars
My kids had fun painting these stars on the lawn. Simply take a cardboard box, trace and cut out a star, and spray paint inside. And don’t’ worry, the paint will fade in a few days.
4. Blue Mason Jar Florals
I picked up these blue mason jars at Target, threw a red ribbon around them and then filled them with white hydrangeas. Fresh, simple, and festive.
5. Flag Lanterns
Love this idea using recycled condiment jars to make lanterns. This is another project that is easy enough for the kids to take over.
Inexpensive and easy!
6. Red White and Blue Ice Cubes
I made red white and blue ice cubes using large square ice trays and different flavors of Gatorade. We poured water or sprite over them and added straws. Fun and tasty!
Here is another example using star-shaped cubes.
Last year, I threw together a last minute July 4th barbecue for a few families. It was quick, easy and in theme. Enjoy these easy July 4th decor ideas for your evening at home with the family or a large get-together! Happy 4th of July!
