Are you curious if people have similar makeup routines as you? I am! Or are you one of those “I wear no makeup, people?” I look pretty frightening with no makeup. But it’s not a problem because I have my go-to regimen that takes 10min start to finish. Read on for a natural-look makeup routine for all ages.
Let’s compare notes. I’d love to learn about any products you can’t live without! Watch my 3-minute video first and then come back for the list of products here!
My Natural-Look Makeup Routine
Face
IOPE UV Shield face sunscreen and base
Secret Concealer for Under-Eye
Laura Mercier Foundation Silk Creme Foundation
Note about using brushes or sponges for foundation: I use my fingers because I can control the exact amount I apply this way. I don’t find applicators useful and think it is a waste of money!
Eyes
A note about my eyelashes. I get lash extensions every month so I do not wear mascara. I highly recommend trying it if you haven’t already. If you are interested in learning more, check out my post Eyelash extensions are worth it
Chanel Les 4 Ombres Multi-effect Quadra Eyeshadow#202
I received this eyeshadow from a friend as a gift, and I love it so much. I can take it day to night by using more of the darker colors.
Urban Decay Naked Basics Double-Ended Brush
While I’m not picky about blush and powder brushes, I think eye brushes are important for makeup application.
Mac eyeliner/brow pencil: Stud
I use this pencil to accentuate underneath my eyes for evenings out.
Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil
shade=Rich Brown
Love this brush – worth every penny!
Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eye Liner – color Black Ebony
This black eyeshadow is interchangeable with others.
Stila Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
I am partial to darker lip liners that I can blend in with the lipstick I choose.
Lips
Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Color for WoMen, French Kiss
It looks too bright, but it’s not. It’s a daytime color that brightens my face.
This lipgloss tingles a bit like menthol when applied and plumps my lips! My lips are sensitive to cold sores so I was worried I would react but it was fine. If you want a boost in your lips, I recommend this gloss.
Setting Powder
I have to say; I’m generally too lazy to use this finishing powder. I will use it before a night out, but I generally don’t use it during the day.
I hope you found some helpful tips from my natural-look makeup routine!
