The holiday season is one filled with joy, gathering with friends and loved ones…but it’s also a stressful and extremely busy time when we have more germs floating around the house. It’s important to stay ahead of our schedules and time block even short burst intervals where the whole family can participate in keeping order in our home, body, and spirit.
Between the changing weather and the added stress during the holidays, it can be hard to keep my family healthy. Last year, I was sick during most of the holiday season. I am armed and ready this year not to let that happen again!
I’ve made a list of ten 45 second activities my family can do to stay efficient, stay germ-free and happy during this holiday season. But before I go into that, I’d like to tell you that my Kroger/Ralphs store is the destination for all my flu needs. I ran over to my local Ralphs store to stock up on all of my sick season essentials.

Ten 45 second activities to stay efficient, germ-free and happy
Even if you have less than a minute to spare, you can incorporate these important tasks into your busy schedule.
1.Empty the trash
Store extra liners in the bottom of the trash can. That way, it will only take a moment to wrap up the used liner and open up the new one. Also, sprinkle baking soda into your trash can to help prevent trash odors from spreading.
2. Clean a mirror with vinegar and newspaper
The vinegar will help the mirror dry streak free. And a newspaper will leave less lint than paper towels.
3. Dust the TV screen with a used dryer sheet
A dryer sheet will help keep dust from resettling.
4. Get love from your dog
5. Write an inspirational word on a chalkboard for display
6. Change the towels in a bathroom or in the kitchen.
Prevent cross-contamination of germs and bacteria by frequently changing towels, especially in the kitchen.
7. Wipe down the room’s light switches.

8. Do a few dishes/empty one rack of the dishwasher
9. Run hot vinegar down the drain to remove gunk and then ice cubes in the garbage disposal to clean it.
